Ingredients
2 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Optional: 1 tablespoon heavy cream for a creamy sauce
Instructions
1. Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat.
3. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4–5 minutes.
