Ingredients
lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup lump crab meat
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ cup heavy cream
Juice and zest of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
8 oz fettuccine or linguine
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2–3 minutes per side.
Stir in lump crab meat and cook gently for 1 minute.
Pour in heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Old Bay seasoning.
Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing to coat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Top with chopped parsley and Parmesan if desired, then serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp and crab for the best flavor.
You can substitute heavy cream with coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat or swap in gluten-free pasta if needed.
