Description
This mango cream dessert is a refreshing, no-bake tropical treat made with ripe mangoes, whipped cream, and aromatic cardamom for the ultimate summer indulgence.
Ingredients
2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
1 cup heavy cream or whipping cream (chilled)
2 tablespoons condensed milk (optional, for sweetness)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
1 tablespoon chopped pistachios or almonds (for garnish)
Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
Puree the mango chunks in a blender until smooth.
Whip the chilled cream until soft peaks form using a whisk or mixer.
Gently fold the mango puree into the whipped cream using a spatula.
Add condensed milk, lemon juice, and cardamom powder and mix again until smooth.
Spoon the mango cream mixture into serving cups, glasses, or jars.
Chill the desserts for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with chopped nuts and mint leaves just before serving.
Notes
Use sweet, non-fibrous mangoes like Alphonso or Ataulfo for best results.
For a dairy-free version, use chilled coconut cream instead of dairy cream.
You can layer the dessert with granola, sponge cake, or yogurt for a parfait or trifle variation.
Avoid overwhipping the cream to prevent a grainy texture.
Serve in clear glasses to showcase the dessert’s vibrant golden color.
