Ingredients
Sauce:
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup cream cheese
6 ounces provolone cheese
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Bowls:
1 pound ribeye steak
Steak seasoning
3 tablespoons mild-tasting oil
1 yellow onion, sliced into rings
2 bell peppers, sliced and deseeded
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
1. Pat ribeye dry and season well. Let rest 30 minutes.
2. Heat oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft and caramelized.
3. Combine heavy cream and cream cheese in saucepan. Stir until melted, then add provolone, hot sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Freeze steak 15 minutes, then slice thinly.
5. Sear steak slices for 45–60 seconds per side.
6. Layer veggies and steak in bowls, pour sauce on top, and serve warm.
Notes
Use mild oil like avocado or sunflower for clean flavor.
