Ingredients
Ingredients
4 beef cube steaks (about 1.5 lbs total)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Optional Marinade Variations (choose one):
Garlic Herb Marinade: lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary, minced garlic
Cajun Marinade: Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar Asian Marinade: soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, grated ginger.
Instructions
Instructions
Pat cube steaks dry and place them in a zip-top bag or shallow dish.
Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce (if using).
Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Preheat grill to medium-high (about 400°F) and lightly oil the grates.
Place steaks on the grill and cook for 3–4 minutes per side. Flip only once.
Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; internal temperature should be 145°F.
Remove steaks and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra tenderness, lightly pound the steaks again with a meat mallet before marinating.
Letting the steak rest before slicing locks in juices and prevents dryness.
Great as a main dish, or sliced into tacos, wraps, or steak sandwiches.
