Ingredients
Noodles (egg, ramen, or spaghetti) – 8 oz
Garlic (freshly minced) – 6 cloves
Butter – 3 tbsp
Soy Sauce – 2 tbsp
Oyster Sauce – 1 tbsp
Brown Sugar – 1 tsp
Sesame Oil – 1 tsp
Green Onions – 2 stalks, chopped
Parmesan Cheese (optional) – ¼ cup
Red Pepper Flakes (optional) – ½ tsp
Instructions
Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil, mixing well. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss to coat them evenly with the garlic butter sauce. Continue stirring for 2-3 minutes to ensure the noodles absorb all the flavors. Garnish with chopped green onions and Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a drizzle of sriracha or extra red pepper flakes. To make it vegetarian, swap out the oyster sauce for a vegetarian alternative. For a heartier meal, add grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
